Beautiful Weekend Ahead…

We are smelling the roses  and getting ready for another beautiful wedding here at MSU Tollgate this weekend.  The creativity of our wedding couples amaze us each week.  We are thrilled they have chosen our corner of the world as a canvas for their special day!

Tollgate will also be hosting the annual Novi Heritage Festival this Saturday.  The Novi Historical Commission, City of Novi, Novi Public Library and the Tollgate Volunteers team up to present the Novi Heritage Festival on June 16th, 2012 from 10a-3p here at MSU Tollgate Farm.

The Festival features demonstrations of many heritage crafts including beekeeping, maple syrup making, horseshoeing, basket making, sheep herding, and many others.  There will also be music, puppet shows, food, hay rides and fishing in the Tollgate pond (all equipment provided). This event is free and fun for the whole family.

Spring is in bloom…

at MSU Tollgate.  The early arrival of Spring has brought the property to life.  The trees, daffodils, & bleeding hearts  are bursting with color.  The Tollgate staff is looking forward to the first wedding of the season in 2 weeks.  Over the winter months, the Tollgate staff have been busy with  renovations  that will allow us to accommodate a larger number of people in the barn and conference center.  Our Tollgate Garden volunteers have been busy too making our gardens a beautiful place to be.
